Our life is in God! Our ultimate longing is union with God. As a spiritual director-companion my goal is to listen, reflect, and help you discern the voice of the Holy Spirit in your life. Highly influenced by the work of Henri Nouwen, I explore the most important spiritual question we face: Who am I? What does it mean to be human in relationship to God, self, others, and creation.
Spiritual direction is a sacred space to know God and be known. As a spiritual director I provide compassionate listening and collaboratively help you to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Our time together may reflective conversation, times of silence, reflectively mediating on the scriptures, or deeper work that involves imaginative prayer. I am available to meet in my office in Tacoma, WA or online through a protected video platform.
I typically meet with individuals and groups one time per month. Spiritual Direction is available for individuals and groups who are not current or past clients/patients in my psychotherapy practice.

As a spiritual companion and chaplain my goal is be present through active listening, explore spiritual needs, and walk with you through difficult spaces as you connect with God. I have over twenty years experience in pastoral ministry, and am now a chaplain in a large hospital system in the Puget Sound Region.
